Freqently Asked Questions

What is the nutrinome?

Your nutrinome represents the whole of your nutrional needs and intakes.
It evolves daily based on multiple factors, such as your physiology, your way of life, your diet, and your environment.

How do you compute my nutrinome?

Bloomizon develops a unique algorithm that takes into account all the factors affecting your nutrinome in order to compute it daily.

Your base needs are obtained based on your physiological data (age, weight, height, sex...). It is then adjusted based on your way of life and your activities. For instance, a smoker will see his vitamin intakes decreased, while someone having intense physical activities will see her vitamin needs increased.

To compute your intakes, we take into account your diet and environmental factors. For instance, our algorithm checks the rate of sunshine at your location to infer whether or not your body is able to synthesize vitamin D.

Based on those results, our program offers you to complete your intakes so that your needs are always 100% satisfied.

Why do we need vitamins?

You can only live because you're getting vitamins from external sources. In the short term, a lack of vitamins decrease your energy. In the long run, vitamin deficiencies increase the risk of serious diseases such as cancer, cardiovascular disease and neurodegenerative disorders. In the end, having the right rate of vitamin means living longer, in better health and with more organic energy in daily life.

What are water-solubles vitamins?

These are the vitamins C and the vitamins of the B group, with the exception of vitamin B12. These are the water soluble vitamins, meaning that they are soluble in water. Our body needs them on a daily basis, it will therefore extract them from our food and food supplements. Since it is unable to store them, the excess will be eliminated through all the water that is excreted from our bodies (sweat, urine, breathing, etc.). It is therefore essential to have a daily intake adapted to your needs.

What are fat-solubles vitamins?

In contrast to water soluble vitamins, they can be stored by the body in fat and some organs such as the liver. These are vitamins A, D, E, K and vitamin B12. Our bodies will draw from their reserves the quantity of vitamin needed to meet our daily needs. We all have our own storage capacity in our bodies, it is important to refill it without exceeding it because the surplus will be stored in other organs which is not their function.
